Describe who can use the existing bathrooms
A building’s total restroom count may not reflect which facilities workers or event guests are allowed to use. Explain that access, the number of simultaneous users and the hours involved. Include separated activity areas and shared breaks when asking for a recommendation.
Review quantity and placement together
Ask how the proposed toilets, washing, accessible facilities and service fit the approved property layout. A general headcount rule does not resolve access or permission issues. Confirm the recommendation for the actual activity with the responsible organiser.
Count access restrictions as part of the need
Explain which groups may use permanent bathrooms and when that permission applies. Describe simultaneous workers or guests, separate activity areas and the length of use. Ask how the recommended quantity, washing and service address those conditions; simply counting every bathroom in a building can overstate the facilities available to your group.
- Bathroom access by intended user group
- Simultaneous users and separate areas
- Quantity discussed with washing and support
